ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 on June 20, 2026, at Truist Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Ozzie Albies hit a walk-off two-run home run in the ninth inning to secure the victory.

Albies also hit a solo home run in the fifth inning and recorded three hits overall in the game. His walk-off home run exited the bat at 94.4 mph with a launch angle of 36 degrees. Aaron Ashby pitched for the Brewers in the ninth inning. He struck out Drake Baldwin for the first out before Matt Olson singled off him. Albies then followed with the walk-off home run. Ashby recorded his first loss of the season, after previously having 10 wins.

Brewers starter Kyle Harrison pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing four hits and two runs, while striking out seven batters. For the Braves, Chris Sale pitched 5 2/3 innings, giving up five hits and two unearned runs. Didier Fuentes pitched for the Braves in the sixth inning, and Dylan Lee pitched a scoreless ninth inning.

William Contreras and Cooper Pratt each had two hits for the Brewers. Andrew Vaughn hit an RBI single in the sixth inning, and Gary Sánchez hit a sacrifice fly in the same inning. Joey Bart, who started at catcher for the Braves, went 0 for 3.

Albies stated, "I've been on this team a long time. Really special group each and every year, but this one I would say is in the top two. A special group, a great group of guys." He added, "I was just debating if it was going foul. When I saw it was staying fair, I started running." Walt Weiss said, "You have to stay away from the long drought. ... Even the best teams have tough stretches. I just love the way we've responded to our tough stretch." Chris Sale said, "This team, we're never out of it. We always feel like we have a chance and we saw it today."
