BEXAR COUNTY — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office arrested six people on July 18, 2026, in connection with an armed home invasion and robbery. The underlying robbery occurred on May 7, 2026, in the 23000 block of Canyon Golf Road.
Three suspects forced entry into the home through the garage during the incident. The suspects held the victims at gunpoint and struck one victim with a handgun. Stolen items included rifles, gaming consoles, a thermal optic, footwear, and the victim’s truck. The victim’s truck was found nearby after the robbery.
Investigators identified several suspects by tracing a stolen thermal optic to a pawn shop. Some suspects pawned off the stolen items. Investigators determined the suspects acted together to plan and carry out the robbery. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspects as part of an organized crime group.
Michael Jarome Randolph Jr. was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized crime. Steve Monroe Pickens Jr. was arrested and charged with theft of property valued between $750 and $2,500. The sheriff’s office stated it could not release Jaemaurices Jordan Mayes’ mugshot because he is a minor. Roberto Carlos Bernal was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. Marquell Jovon Clay was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. Daquarius Esean Crockett was arrested and charged with theft.
"Search warrants and resulting arrests uncovered additional criminal activity," the sheriff’s office said. Additional criminal activity uncovered included drug possession, stolen weapons, and vehicle theft equipment.
The case involves six defendants facing charges ranging from theft to aggravated robbery and engaging in organized crime. The sheriff’s office noted that search warrants executed during the arrests revealed further illicit materials, including drugs, stolen weapons, and vehicle theft equipment. The public record regarding one suspect remains partially restricted due to age, as the sheriff’s office could not release Jaemaurices Jordan Mayes’ mugshot because he is a minor.
