NORTH SOUND, ANTIGUA — Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat against West Indies in the second and final Test on Wednesday at North Sound, Antigua. Both teams made multiple changes to their squads following the first Test.

West Indies captain Roston Chase said he was "happy to bowl first" and stated he wanted his players to replicate their performance in the first Test. Shai Hope returned to the West Indies squad after missing the first Test due to an injury. Joshua de Silva was dropped to accommodate Hope's return, and Hope will serve as wicketkeeper. Fast bowler Kemar Roach, who reached 300 Test wickets in the first match, has been ruled out of the second Test with a hamstring injury. Anderson Phillip replaced Roach in the squad.

The West Indies squad for this Test includes John Campbell, Brandon King, Shai Hope, Amir Jangoo, Justin Greaves, Roston Chase, Kavem Hodge, Jayden Seales, Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, and Anderson Phillip. Their earlier victory in the first Test, by an innings and 217 runs, marked their first win in eight World Test Championship games.

Sri Lanka made three changes to their squad for the second Test. Lahiru Udara replaced opening batter Pathum Nissanka. Prabath Jayasuriya replaced injured fast bowler Lahiru Kumara. Asitha Fernando replaced Isitha Wijesundara. The Sri Lanka squad consists of Lahiru Udara, Nishan Madushka, Dinesh Chandimal, Kamindu Mendis, Dhananjaya de Silva, Kusal Mendis, Sonal Dinusha, Prabath Jayasuriya, Milan Rathnayake, Isitha Wijesundara, and Asitha Fernando.
