NEW YORK — The S&P 500 Index closed up 0.79% on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.26%, while the Nasdaq 100 Index increased by 1.68%.

September E-mini S&P futures rose 0.63%, and September E-mini Nasdaq futures increased by 1.55%. In economic data, May JOLTS job openings increased by 9,000 to 7.594 million. The April S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Composite-20 Home Price Index rose 1.14% year-over-year.

The June MNI Chicago PMI declined by 6.0 points to 56.7. The Conference Board's June consumer confidence index rose 0.6 points to 91.2. International indicators showed China's June manufacturing PMI increased by 0.3 points to 50.3, and its non-manufacturing PMI rose by 0.1 points to 50.2.

Bond markets reflected rising yields, with the 10-year T-note yield increasing by 4.6 basis points to 4.420%. The 10-year German bund yield rose by 0.2 basis points to 2.860%, and the 10-year UK gilt yield climbed by 4.1 basis points to 4.757%. WTI crude oil fell by more than 1%.

SanDisk closed up over 10%, with KLA Corp rising more than 8%. Advanced Micro Devices and Marvell Technology each closed up more than 7%. ON Semiconductor and Intel both saw gains exceeding 6%, while Lam Research and ASML Holdings NV closed up more than 5%.

Applied Materials and Texas Instruments each rose over 4%, and ARM Holdings Plc closed up more than 3%. Apple, Nvidia, and Tesla all closed up more than 2%. Microsoft and Alphabet each increased by more than 1%, and Meta Platforms gained 0.12%.

Amazon.com closed down 0.75%. Bitcoin fell over 2%. MicroStrategy closed down more than 6%, Galaxy Digital Holdings dropped over 4%, and Coinbase Global fell more than 3%. MARA Holdings and Riot Platforms both closed down more than 1%.

AeroVironment closed up more than 18% after reporting Q4 revenue of $641.6 million and forecasting 2027 revenue between $2.13 billion and $2.23 billion. Avex Corp closed up more than 16% after receiving a $50 million contract from the U.S. Air Force. Air Products and Chemicals closed up more than 8% after scrapping plans for a multibillion-dollar clean energy project in Louisiana.

Tradeweb Markets closed up more than 8% after Goldman Sachs upgraded its rating to buy from neutral, with a price target of $146. MKS Inc closed up more than 6% following BMO Capital Markets initiating coverage with a buy recommendation and a price target of $453. Nebius Group NV closed up more than 5% after President Capital Management initiated coverage with a buy recommendation and a price target of $307.

Concentrix closed down more than 11% after reporting Q2 revenue of $2.46 billion and cutting its full-year revenue forecast to $9.93 billion-$10.03 billion. Digital Realty closed down more than 5% after Blackstone affiliates priced an underwritten public offering of 12.3 million shares of its common stock at $185 per share.

The Euro Stoxx 50 closed up 1.55%. In Asia, China's Shanghai Composite closed up 0.50%, and Japan's Nikkei-225 Stock Average rose 0.86%.
