The collision took place at 9 p.m. near Yarbrough Drive. Dominguez was riding a 2025 Kawasaki ZX400 motorcycle when he was struck by an unidentified light-colored vehicle. According to the police news release issued by Officer Adrian Cisneros, the driver of the vehicle was traveling eastbound on the freeway at a high speed when the driver changed lanes and collided with Dominguez. The vehicle then left the scene.
