Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry discussed their approach to maintaining their marriage in a podcast interview. The NBA player shared that confronting daily tension and supporting each other through challenges helps strengthen a marriage.
"Again, I think I heard somebody say like, neither one of us can quit on the same day, as a philosophy of understanding," Curry said in the interview. "I subscribe to that philosophy, but also like the tension in the daily."
Ayesha Curry emphasized the importance of prioritizing their relationship in their family structure. "For us, our relationship always comes first," Ayesha Curry said. "And that works for us because then you have two happy people raising the kids in the house. So the family sector in our lives always comes first."
The couple has been married since 2011 and share four children together. Their relationship began when they first met as teenagers at church.
In February, Curry said in an interview that embracing life's challenges is important for making a relationship work.
