HOUSTON — The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo elected Wesley Sinor as its new chairman of the board. Sinor succeeds Pat Mann Phillips and assumed the role immediately following his election.

Sinor has been involved with the organization since 2003 and joined the board of directors in 2009. He served as a Rodeo vice president from 2014 to 2016 and was elected to the Executive Committee in 2017. He has also chaired the audit and budget committees.

Leadership changes were part of a broader set of officer elections. Chris Boleman was re-elected as president and CEO, Katie Grahmann was re-elected as chief financial officer and corporate treasurer, and Chris Atmar was elected general counsel and corporate secretary. The organization also elected six new vice presidents and re-elected 12 others. These 18 vice presidents oversee more than 36,000 volunteers across 109 committees.

Additionally, 22 new directors joined the board, and 14 long-serving volunteers were granted lifetime director status in recognition of their contributions. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo credited Phillips with guiding the organization through a period of growth that included expanded educational opportunities, increased community and volunteer engagement, and long-term planning initiatives.

The organization’s priorities for the coming years include centennial planning, exploring opportunities for growth and expansion, strengthening its year-round presence, and establishing a legacy giving program. Preparations are already underway for the Rodeo’s 100th anniversary in 2032, with plans to actively engage volunteers in the effort. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo was founded in 1932.
