UNITED STATES AND EUROPE — The Professional Fighters League will host four fight cards across the United States and Europe over the next five weeks, beginning with PFL Madrid on Friday. The Madrid event takes place at 4 p.m. ET with prelims at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

PFL middleweight champion Costello van Steenis will defend his title against Fabian Edwards in the main event. Van Steenis won the championship in July 2025 by choking Johnny Eblen unconscious with nine seconds remaining in their bout.

Edwards enters the title fight after winning the 2025 PFL tournament with a 3-0 record. He previously lost twice to Eblen in Bellator middleweight title fights and dropped a split decision to van Steenis in 2020.

The Madrid card also features a featherweight bout between AJ McKee and Adam Borics. McKee won the Bellator featherweight title from Patricio Pitbull in 2021 before losing it back in their 2022 rematch. The two fighters have not faced each other before.

PFL Pittsburgh follows on March 28 at 10 p.m. ET with prelims at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+. Johnny Eblen returns to action for the first time since his July 2025 loss to van Steenis, facing Bryan Battle in the main event.

Battle will make his PFL debut after leaving the UFC. The UFC released Battle in the summer of 2025 after he missed weight three times between 2023 and 2025, including weighing four pounds over the middleweight limit for his scheduled UFC 319 fight against Nursulton Ruziboev.

The Pittsburgh card includes a 185-pound matchup between Impa Kasanganay and Dalton Rosta. Kasanganay won the 2023 PFL light heavyweight season and was a finalist in the 2024 season. Rosta reached the 2025 PFL middleweight final, losing to Edwards.

PFL Chicago takes place April 11 at 9 p.m. ET with prelims at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+. Sergio Pettis and Mitch McKee will face each other on the Chicago card.

Pettis is a former Bellator bantamweight champion and former UFC competitor from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. McKee brings a 10-0 professional record and collegiate wrestling background to the matchup.

In 2025, PFL held a season-long single-elimination tournament featuring an expanded field of fighters acquired in a merger with Bellator MMA. In 2026, PFL is operating under traditional MMA matchmaking.
