MEMPHIS, TENN. — Jaylen Brown scored 30 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 117-112 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night in Memphis. The Celtics used a fourth-quarter rally to secure the win.

Brown scored 16 points in the second quarter to help Boston carry a 55-54 lead into halftime. Payton Pritchard added 19 points for the Celtics, while Jayson Tatum struggled early, missing his first eight shots.

Tyler Burton led the Grizzlies with a career-high 23 points. The forward signed a 10-day contract with Memphis on March 12. Ty Jerome contributed 16 points and seven assists for Memphis, while Javon Small and DeJon Jarreau each finished with 13 points.

Boston shot 40% entering the fourth quarter, and Memphis held a 103-102 lead with 5:33 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Celtics then went on a 10-point rally to secure the victory. Memphis was short-handed with nine players on the injury list.

The win extended Boston's winning streak to four games and kept them in second place in the Eastern Conference, 1½ games ahead of the New York Knicks.

Both teams had converted three 3-pointers each until the four-minute mark of the second quarter.

The Celtics will host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday. The Grizzlies will play the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday.
