TAMPA — The New York Yankees re-signed Cody Bellinger to a $162.5 million contract during the winter. The team also extended a $22.025 million qualifying offer to Trent Grisham.

Bellinger, who played for the Yankees in the Bronx last season, will receive $85 million over the next two seasons under the new contract. This amount is $5 million more than Aaron Judge will make over the same period.

The Yankees also re-signed Grisham during the winter. The qualifying offer of $22.025 million compares to the $5.25 million Grisham earned over his previous five-year contract period.
