CATALONIA — Barcelona will host Osasuna on Saturday with an 11-point lead over Real Madrid in La Liga and five matches remaining in the season. Real Madrid will face Espanyol on Sunday.

Barcelona has won nine straight league matches, including a 2-0 victory at Getafe last Saturday. Real Madrid has won only one of its last six games across all competitions and is facing a second straight season without a major trophy after Xabi Alonso was fired as manager.

The La Liga record for most points in a season is 100, first set by Jose Mourinho's Real Madrid in 2012 and matched by Tito Vilanova's Barcelona side in 2013. Barcelona currently has five matches remaining to chase that mark.

Osasuna sits ninth in La Liga and has lost only twice at El Sadar Stadium this season. The club enters the weekend on a run of 10 straight home matches without defeat.

Hansi Flick has been Barcelona's manager for two years and guided the club to the 2025 Copa del Rey title. Barcelona was eliminated from the Champions League in the quarterfinals by Atletico Madrid.

Fermin Lopez, a 22-year-old midfielder, has scored 13 goals and provided 16 assists this season, including a goal in the win at Getafe. Vinicius Junior has scored two goals in his last two league games for Real Madrid.

Lamine Yamal is out for the season with a muscle injury. Raphinha, who suffered a hamstring injury while playing for Brazil in March and was sidelined when Barcelona were knocked out of the Champions League by Atletico Madrid, has returned from injury and will travel with the squad to face Osasuna.

Flick said Raphinha's recovery is progressing well. "He's doing good, so the evolution is good, I think we will see him in the World Cup," Flick said. He added, "He has time, more time, to recover, to come back."
