The first two games of the 2026 NBA Play-In Tournament will be livestreamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, the NBA announced. The Miami Heat will face the Charlotte Hornets with tipoff at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT, followed by the Portland Trail Blazers against the Phoenix Suns at 10:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. PT.

The play-in games will not be broadcast on NBC, ABC, ESPN or NBA TV, making Amazon Prime Video the sole platform carrying the matchups. Viewers without a cable subscription will need an Amazon Prime Video membership to watch the games.

Amazon offers a standalone Prime Video plan at $8.99 per month. An annual Amazon Prime subscription, which includes access to Prime Video, costs $139.99 per year. The monthly standalone plan allows viewers to access Prime Video without enrolling in the broader Amazon Prime membership, which bundles additional services such as free shipping.

The Play-In Tournament determines the final seeds in each conference before the NBA Playoffs begin. The tournament format means teams finishing between seventh and tenth place in each conference compete for the final two playoff spots per conference. Winners of the higher-seeded matchups advance directly to the playoffs, while the remaining teams play an additional game to determine the final berth.
