WEMBLEY — Chelsea midfielder Keira Walsh became the 15th England Women's player to earn 100 senior caps, reaching the milestone at Wembley during a 2027 World Cup qualifier against Spain. The 29-year-old joins a group of players in the history of the program to reach the century mark.

Walsh joins a list that includes some of the most prolific figures in English women's football. Fara Williams holds the all-time record with 172 appearances over an international career that spanned 18 years and included three World Cup tournaments. Jill Scott, also a midfielder, ranks second with 161 caps. Williams and Scott are the only two England Women's players to have reached 150 or more appearances.

Among active players, defender Lucy Bronze leads the current squad with 146 caps. Bronze, who is 34, sits behind only Williams and Scott on the all-time list. Defender Alex Greenwood, who plays for Manchester City, has accumulated 108 appearances at age 32, placing her among the active centurions as well.

Walsh reached her 100th cap in a competitive qualifier at England's national stadium, continuing her contribution to the team's 2027 World Cup campaign.
