ATLANTA, GEORGIA — The Atlanta Braves will host the Cleveland Guardians in the rubber game of their three-game series on Sunday at 7:20 p.m. ET at Truist Park. Both teams enter the contest with identical 9-6 records after splitting the first two games of the series.

Cleveland evened the series on Saturday with a 6-0 victory after losing the opener on Friday. The shutout ended Atlanta's three-game winning streak and marked the Braves' first shutout loss of the season. Prior to Saturday's result, Atlanta had won five consecutive meetings against Cleveland.

Chris Sale (2-1, 3.94 ERA) will take the mound for the Braves on Sunday, while Tanner Bibee (0-1, 3.29 ERA) will start for the Guardians. In his previous outing, Sale allowed six earned runs over four innings, the most he has given up in a single start since June 2024. Bibee has allowed three home runs across his three starts this season, one fewer than the most surrendered by any American League pitcher during the same stretch.

Oddsmakers have installed Atlanta as the -196 favorite on the money line, with Cleveland listed at +163 as the underdog. The over/under for total runs is set at 7.5, and the Braves' run line sits at -1.5 with odds of +115. The first two games of the series averaged 11 total runs between the two clubs.
