LONDON — Caroline Dubois and Terri Harper both weighed in one pound under the 9 stone 9 pound (61 kilogram) lightweight limit at Olympia in London on Saturday ahead of their unified lightweight world title fight scheduled for Easter Sunday at the same venue. The two fighters then faced off at the center of the stage, continuing the verbal sparring that defined the build-up to the bout.

Dubois, 25, holds the WBC lightweight title and carries a professional record of 12 wins and one draw. Harper, 29, from Doncaster, holds the WBO lightweight title and has a record of 16 wins, two losses, and two draws. Harper has previously held world titles at featherweight and light-middleweight and has fought Natasha Jonas, Alycia Baumgardner, Cecilia Brækhus, and Sandy Ryan.

The weigh-in followed a combative fight week. Harper shoved Dubois at a media day earlier in the week, and the two exchanged elbow jostles during a photo call on Thursday.

"The game is over. It's all about tomorrow [Sunday]. It's not about the elbows, it's about the fists." Harper said after stepping off the scales. She described having no difficulty making weight. "I naturally get down to this weight. This morning I woke up on weight, I didn't need to take anything off." she said.

Harper also addressed what she told Dubois during their face-off. "I just told her I'm excited to punch her in the face." she said.

Dubois predicted she would finish the contest inside the distance. "A win is the most important, but I believe I win by knockout." she said. She also pointed to her physical development heading into the fight. "Look at my body and my physique. This year I've grown, I've got bigger, I've got stronger." Dubois said.

Live text and radio commentary of the fight will begin at 19:00 BST on Sunday, 5 April, available online and on radio.
