ORANGE COUNTY — Jennifer Pedranti confirmed on Thursday that her son was involved in a brush fire on Narrow Canyon Road in southern Orange County. The Orange County Fire Authority received multiple calls reporting a vegetation fire around 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The fire threatened nearby homes before firefighters, with assistance from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, contained it to 7 acres. Video from the scene documented smoke from the fire and a helicopter deploying water.

Pedranti, a star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," posted a statement on her Instagram stories indicating that her son and "others were involved." She did not specify which of her four sons was involved in the incident. "My ex husband and myself take this very serious. This behavior is unacceptable and we are deeply sorry to our community. This is a tough learning moment for our son and our family," Pedranti wrote.

Pedranti confirmed that no property damage occurred and no injuries were reported. "There was no property damage and nobody was hurt," she said. She added that her son would participate in a fire safety course. "He will be taking a fire safety course to make sure a mistake like this never happens again," Pedranti wrote.

Pedranti joined "The Real Housewives of Orange County" in its 17th season, which aired in 2023, and has appeared in every season since, including the currently airing 20th season. She shares five children, four sons and one daughter, with her ex-husband, William Pedranti. Her 17-year-old son is Greyson.
