COLUMBUS — Relosse Delievre was taken into custody on June 29, 2026, after intentionally crashing into a Columbus police cruiser twice and attempting a PIT maneuver. Delievre was later booked into the Franklin County jail on two counts of felonious assault.

The incident began when a crash occurred near West Broad Street and North Warren Avenue in Columbus, Ohio, blocking part of the road. Two Columbus police officers responded to the scene and identified Relosse Delievre as a driver involved in the crash. Officers directed Delievre to move his vehicle to a nearby gas station, stating that his vehicle was not disabled.

Delievre then drove into the back of a Columbus police cruiser. He subsequently hit the police cruiser from behind a second time. Following these actions, Delievre attempted a PIT maneuver on the police cruiser, striking its front driver’s side.

Both officers exited their cruiser and ordered Delievre to show his hands, at which point he exited his vehicle through the passenger-side window. The two officers were treated at the scene. Detectives interviewed Delievre at a hospital, where court records state he admitted knowing he had been involved in a crash with a cruiser and intentionally striking it.

After being released from the hospital, Delievre was booked into the Franklin County jail. He was arraigned on July 1, 2026, and a judge set his bond at $2 million.
