PHOENIX, ARIZONA — The women's NCAA Tournament Final Four in Phoenix this coming weekend will feature all four No. 1 seeds: Connecticut, UCLA, Texas and South Carolina.

Connecticut enters the Final Four with a 38-0 record and has won 54 consecutive games over two seasons. The Huskies won their 12th national championship last season and have won all of their NCAA tournament games this season by at least 18 points, including a 43-point win over No. 9 Syracuse in the second round.

Senior guard Azzi Fudd and sophomore forward Sarah Strong are averaging a combined 35.5 points, 11.1 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game during the NCAA tournament. The Huskies have qualified for the Final Four for the fifth time in six seasons.

UCLA advanced to its second consecutive Final Four with a 70-58 victory over No. 3 Duke in the Elite Eight. Senior center Lauren Betts scored 23 points and collected 10 rebounds in the win, while Angela Dugalic contributed 15 points off the bench with four rebounds and two steals.

Betts is averaging 17.2 points, 8.6 rebounds and a career-best 3.2 assists per game entering the semifinal round. Guards Kiki Rice, Gabriela Jaquez and Gianna Kneepkens are each averaging double-figure scoring this season for the Bruins, who are making just their second Final Four appearance in program history.

Texas reached the Final Four with a 35-3 record after finishing second in the SEC during the regular season. The Longhorns have an average margin of victory of 35.5 points in the NCAA tournament, including a 36-point win over No. 2 Michigan in the Elite Eight.

Junior forward Madison Booker is averaging 22.5 points and 8.8 rebounds per game in the NCAA tournament. Booker scored 40 points against No. 8 Oregon in the second round, while sophomore guard Jordan Lee has led the team in scoring in two of the last four tournament games.

"I don't think people understand how hard it is to do it. I think it bodes well for all of us, but there's four or five more teams right there nipping at your heels," said Vic Schaefer, Texas Longhorns coach.

South Carolina earned its spot in the Final Four after defeating TCU 78-52 in the Elite Eight. The Gamecocks won their tournament games by 69, 40 and 26 points before the Elite Eight victory. Five players on South Carolina average double-figure scoring, led by forward Joyce Edwards with 19.6 points per game.

"I think you've just got to go pound for pound with them, just be unafraid of running against an undefeated team. The pressures of playing undefeated, if you keep it close, you might – might – get them on a bad night and that's what we're hoping for on Friday," said Dawn Staley, South Carolina Gamecocks coach. The Gamecocks have reached the Final Four in seven of the past nine seasons, including six consecutive appearances under Staley. Only once before have the same four teams reached consecutive women's Final Fours, when UConn, Tennessee, Stanford and Georgia did so in 1995 and 1996.
