TRALEE — The International squad defeated the United States squad to win the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup on July 5, 2026, at Tralee Golf Links in Ireland. The International squad secured the victory with a final score of 30.5 to 29.5.

Vanessa Borovilos of the International squad clinched the winning half-point against Mackenzie Lee of the U.S. squad. The match between Borovilos and Lee concluded in a tie. Borovilos plays college golf at Texas A&M and is from Canada.

The competition featured two 24-person teams, each composed of 12 men and 12 women college golfers. After the first 12 matches on Thursday, the United States and International squads were tied with 6 points each.

On Saturday morning, the International squad won the session 6.5 to 5.5. Both sides earned 6 points in the Saturday afternoon matches. Heading into the Sunday singles matches, the International squad held an 18.5 to 17.5 lead over the United States.

Each side won 12 of the Sunday singles matches. Several individual matches contributed to the final score. Maria Jose Marin of the International squad defeated Kiara Romero of the U.S. squad 1 up, and George Cannon of the International squad defeated Jonathan McEwen of the U.S. squad 1 up. Luke Poulter of the International squad tied Ryder Cowan of the U.S. squad.

Additional International squad victories included Rianne Malixi over Jasmine Koo 1 up, Nguyen Anh Minh over Cayden Pope 5 and 3, Harry Takis over Willy Walsh 4 and 3, Marie Eline Madsen over Anna Davis 3 and 2, and Marta Silchenko over Farah O'Keefe 2 up. Daniel Bennett of the International squad tied Josiah Gilbert of the U.S. squad.

On the U.S. side, Macy Pate defeated Lauren Kim 2 and 1. Jacob Modleski defeated Zack Swanwick 1 up, Chloe Kovelesky defeated Caitlin Maurice 4 and 2, Wheaton Ennis defeated Malan Potgieter 3 and 2, and Kihei Akina defeated Connor Graham 1 up. Paula Francisco of the International squad tied Kylie Chong of the U.S. squad, and Cayetana Fernández Garcia-Poggio of the International squad tied Avery Weed of the U.S. squad.

Other International wins included Arni Sveinsson over Connor Williams 6 and 5, Tim Wiedemeyer over William Jennings 2 and 1, and Patience Rhodes over Bailey Shoemaker 5 and 3. Megan Propeck of the U.S. squad defeated Veronika Kedronova 1 up. Jack Turner of the U.S. squad defeated Jack Buchanan 1 up, and Max Herendeen of the U.S. squad defeated Niall Sheils Donegan 3 and 2.

The Arnold Palmer Cup is an annual college golf tournament that began in 1997 at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando. Co-founded by Arnold Palmer and the Golf Coaches Association of America, it brings together top collegiate golfers in a team format. This victory marks a shift in the all-time series, which the United States still leads 15-14-1 following this event.
