Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video on his social media account depicting himself as a doctor offering a treatment plan for a condition he identified as 'Trump Derangement Syndrome.' The video utilized AI-generated likenesses of celebrities who have publicly criticized him, including Rosie O'Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg, Edward Norton, Julia Roberts, John Leguizamo, and Robert De Niro.

In the video, an AI-generated version of O'Donnell stated, "I have been suffering for over a decade and after listening to Dr. Trump, I can see some results." An AI-generated version of Robert De Niro remarked, "I had no idea how much this was affecting my life. My work has slowed down. I'm hardly recognizable anymore. I just needed help. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. Constantly angry. I made everyone miserable around me." An AI-generated version of Julia Roberts said, "I feel like I've aged 20 years in the last two years."

Trump offered advice for those experiencing the syndrome, saying, "Turn off fake news. Say your prayers and, if you ever feel anxious, just have a Diet Coke like me and you're gonna see a remarkable difference in your life."

Rosie O'Donnell issued a statement regarding the video, saying, "He's quite ill-and getting worse daily. The 25th amendment exists for exactly this reason. Remove. Impeach. Convict." White House spokesperson Davis Ingle said posting the video was Trump's "right." Ingle also stated, "Trump Derangement Syndrome is a crippling disease that has unfortunately rotted the brains of many people."

Earlier in the year, Trump shared an image portraying himself as Jesus healing the sick, which was later deleted. He also shared an image depicting himself as the Pope and posted a fake Time magazine cover that showed him as a king wearing a crown, along with the statement, "Long live the king!" In February, Trump shared a video portraying Barack Obama and Michelle Obama as apes, which he later deleted but refused to apologize for.

At a May event at the White House, Trump stated, "I'm hearing it is actually a disease" concerning Trump Derangement Syndrome. In December, following the deaths of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele, Trump wrote on Truth Social that Reiner died "reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS."
