NBC Sports and Peacock will nationally broadcast all 15 Major League Baseball games scheduled for July 5, 2026, under the branding "Star-Spangled Sunday." This marks the first time in league history that a network will show all 15 games nationally on a single day without blackouts.

The NBC broadcast network will air the New York Mets versus the Atlanta Braves game and the San Diego Padres versus the Los Angeles Dodgers game. The NBC Sports Network will carry three games, including the Boston Red Sox versus the Los Angeles Angels game, the Minnesota Twins versus the New York Yankees game at 12:30 p.m. ET, and the Toronto Blue Jays versus the Seattle Mariners game at 4 p.m. ET. NBC Sports will hold full exclusivity for 12 of the 15 games. Local simulcasts will take place with regional sports networks in Boston, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.

Programming for the day begins with a pregame show at 11 a.m. on NBC and Peacock. Peacock will offer multiview functionality, allowing viewers to watch up to four games simultaneously. MLB Multiview will provide a curated four-box view of top games, with viewers able to switch audio from each game. This feature will also include a catch-up option for missed key plays.

Production will involve a combination of NBC Sports personnel and local crews from individual teams. Rob Hyland, NBC Sports Senior Vice President of Production and Coordinating Producer, said in a podcast interview, "The big idea is to take over the sport entirely for a day and celebrate the Fourth [of July]." He added, "This is going to feel a bit like the Olympics with all the inbound feeds happening." There will be no home base studio show on the day. "There will be consistency throughout all these presentations in the graphics look," Hyland said. The upper left score bar will be consistent for 14 of the 15 games, while the NESN game featuring the Red Sox and Angels will utilize its own score bar. Theme music will be consistent across all games. Guardians play-by-play announcer Matt Underwood will join White Sox analyst Steve Stone for the White Sox-Guardians game, with Guardians reporter Andre Knott on the field. The Chicago Cubs game will have an all-Cubs crew consisting of Alex Cohen, Mark Sweeney, and Taylor McGregor.

YouTube TV subscribers who do not subscribe to Peacock will have access to every game through YouTube's agreement with NBCUniversal. At the Front Office Sports Tuned In media summit in November 2025, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred said, "Discoverability is really going to be important going forward." In late June 2026, a Yankees-Red Sox game on Sunday Night Baseball averaged 4 million viewers, the highest audience for the league in that time slot since 2011.
