MEMPHIS — CMA CGM Group has agreed to acquire FedEx Supply Chain, the third-party logistics subsidiary of FedEx, for an enterprise value of $1.4 billion. The acquisition is pending regulatory approvals and is expected to close later this year.

The transaction will nearly triple the size of CEVA Logistics, the logistics arm of CMA CGM. The combined entity will have approximately 20,000 employees across more than 240 locations in North America and will operate around 150 warehouses. As of May 31, 2025, FedEx Supply Chain had about 11,500 employees at nearly 150 facilities.

CMA CGM and FedEx announced their intention to enter into multi-year commercial agreements concerning air and ocean freight. Under these non-exclusive agreements, CMA CGM will become a preferred ocean carrier for FedEx. These agreements are projected to begin in phases between 2026 and 2028.

CEVA Logistics is recognized as the fifth-largest global third-party logistics provider by gross revenue and the seventh-largest warehouse operator by square footage. In 2025, CMA CGM pledged to invest $20 billion in U.S. warehousing, air cargo, and logistics over four years. FedEx is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee.
