FRISCO — Universal Kids Resort opened in Frisco, Texas, on July 1, 2026. This marks Universal Destinations & Experiences' first regional theme park, designed for children ages 3 to 8.

The resort features seven themed areas: DreamWorks' Shrek's Swamp, Jurassic World Adventure Camp, Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, Illumination's Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, DreamWorks' TrollsFest, DreamWorks' Puss in Boots Del Mar, and Isle of Curiosity featuring DreamWorks' Gabby's Dollhouse. The park includes approximately a dozen rides.

A 300-room hotel is located at the entrance to the resort, with rooms accommodating up to six guests. Page Thompson, president of New Ventures for Universal Destinations & Experiences, said, "Today's an exciting day for all kidkind as we officially open Universal Kids Resort."

Molly Murphy, president of Universal Creative, said, "Universal Kids Resort offers a completely unique experience to what we have at our other destinations - introducing a younger generation to Universal fun crafted just for them." Murphy added, "That was our intent from the very beginning, to design a regional park that was just for kids."

One-day general admission tickets are $54.99, while two-day tickets are $73.99. Options including a Coca-Cola Freestyle Souvenir Cup cost $69.99 for one day and $101.99 for two days. The Troll-ify Me! Experience is $25 per person, and a four-hour Private VIP Experience with priority attraction access costs $999.99 per person. Christopher Colón, executive sous chef of Research and Development at Universal Destinations & Experiences, said, "There is no typical kids' menu in these locations." He added, "It's one menu that all kids would enjoy, as well as their parents."
