PRAGUE — Troy Parrott scored a goal and provided an assist for AZ Alkmaar in a 4-0 UEFA Conference League win over Slavia Prague in Prague.

The 24-year-old Dublin native has recorded 28 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances for AZ Alkmaar in the current season. His overall record for the club stands at 48 goals and 12 assists in 88 appearances since joining permanently from Tottenham Hotspur.

Parrott's transfer to AZ Alkmaar followed his 2023-24 loan season at Excelsior, where he scored 17 goals. His performance at Excelsior secured him a permanent transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to AZ Alkmaar.

At Tottenham, Parrott made four first-team appearances before being loaned to Millwall, Ipswich Town, Milton Keynes Dons and Preston North End.

Parrott scored four goals in four games for AZ Alkmaar in the weeks before the international break. He missed a 99th-minute panenka penalty attempt in AZ Alkmaar's loss to FC Twente.

Parrott also played the full 90 minutes in AZ Alkmaar's 3-0 loss to Groningen.
