MINNEAPOLIS — Hunter Goodman hit three home runs to lead the Colorado Rockies to an 8-5 victory over the Minnesota Twins on June 27, 2026, at Target Field. Goodman hit solo home runs in his first two at-bats, followed by a three-run home run in the seventh inning.

Goodman, who played as the designated hitter and now has 25 home runs this season, became the third player in Rockies franchise history to hit three home runs in a single game. Eighteen of his 25 home runs have been hit on the road this season. Rockies manager Warren Schaeffer described the performance, stating, "An exceptional night from Hunter," and adding, "Incredible."

On the mound for the Rockies, Michael Lorenzen started and pitched five innings. Lorenzen allowed seven hits and two earned runs, recorded one strikeout, and issued no walks. He has now pitched five or more innings in four consecutive games.

Victor Vodnik pitched in the sixth inning and retired all four batters he faced. Brennan Bernardino then pitched the eighth inning, allowing no hits or runs and recording one strikeout on 13 pitches. Kyle Karros contributed to the Rockies' offense with a two-run home run in the eighth inning.

In the ninth inning, Zach Agnos entered the game with an 8-2 lead, striking out Royce Lewis. Jimmy Herget replaced Agnos and secured his third save of the season by inducing two flyouts to end the game.
