TALLAHASSEE — TLH Reckoning will host Fort Lauderdale United in its final USL-W season game on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Gene Cox Stadium. World Cup winner Crystal Dunn is scheduled to attend the match, which begins at 7 p.m.

TLH Reckoning was founded in 2023 and played its first season in 2024, entering the USL ranks with pre-professional teams in the USL-W league and the WPSL. The organization also serves as a full-time academy for local players and offers programs for youth players through its MLS Go program. TLH Reckoning holds a 4-3-2 record in the current USL-W season and currently averages attendance in the hundreds at its home games, known as "The Nest." Ashlee Fontes, the founder of TLH Reckoning, stated that attendance in the thousands is needed for the club to remain sustainable.

Dunn, a World Cup winner and Olympic gold medalist, retired in January 2026. She won the NWSL Golden Boot and the NWSL MVP honor in 2015 while playing for the Washington Spirit. Dunn also secured three NWSL titles during her career and made 160 appearances for the USWNT, including being a member of the 2019 World Cup-winning team and the 2024 Olympic gold medal-winning team. Fontes is a former Florida State soccer player who holds a doctorate. She was also the former chief operating officer for the NWSL Washington Spirit and was the first woman of color elected president of the United Soccer Coaches.

Fontes said she hopes Dunn's presence will draw attention to the team. "There's proof and concept. This is going to sound funny, but it was Buster Rhymes that I heard say this. Some people, your ideas can seem delusional to them, right? Because they can't see it, but I see it, you know, and I've seen it because of the talent that we have here, the character that we have here, the uniqueness of Tallahassee," Fontes said. She added, "The growth is proof of concept, and it's been absolutely amazing. It's been incredibly, incredibly hard, but you know, take, take one at one day at a time, and keep your eye on the grand vision, and can just keep grinding away." Fontes also said, "There's something really, really special going on here, otherwise she wouldn't be here... I hope it inspires them, the young girls, to realize, 'hey, wait, that's because of me.' Crystal Dunn is here because of me, whether I'm just starting right now or it's me, like seven years down the road. I want the girls to feel how incredibly loved they are, and through the sport, how much opportunity they have."

Charlotte Reynolds, the 2026 All-Big Bend Player of the Year who attended Chiles High School, competes for the TLH Reckoning USL-W team. Tickets for the game are available on the TLH Reckoning website. Fontes encouraged fans to see the players before they advance professionally, drawing a parallel to Dunn's career: "Come see them before they go pro. Because that's always a fun story to tell. 'Hey, I knew so and so before they even went pro, and they became this mega star named Crystal Dunn.'"
