Officials documented 100 heat-related incidents at the event on June 11. That number decreased to three on June 12 before rising to 16 on June 13. On June 14, officials recorded 10 heat-related incidents. Operations were briefly interrupted that day due to lightning at 12:26 p.m., resuming at 1:20 p.m.

Following the full closure and delayed reopening, officials documented one heat-related incident on June 16, 10 on June 17, 21 on June 18, 28 on June 19, nine on June 20, and one on June 21.

Temperatures in Houston are forecast to reach between 89°F and 96°F (32°C–35°C), with the heat index predicted to range from 102°F to 109°F (39°C–43°C). Officials advise fans to remain hydrated, monitor their physical condition, and utilize available cooling stations. A match between Portugal and Uzbekistan is scheduled to take place at Houston Fan Fest on June 23.
