Lincoln County commissioners approved several contracts for the 2025–2027 fiscal years during meetings on June 10 and June 17, 2025. The approved contracts, effective from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027, cover services including cleaning county offices, display and legal advertising, election ballot printing, gas and diesel, road oil, and gravel.

The Western News secured the bids for display and legal advertising, becoming the paper of record. For legal ads, The Western News submitted a bid of $0.75 for the first folio with no charge for additional runs, while The Kootenai Valley Record bid $5 for the first folio and $3 for additional publication. The Western News also won the display advertising contract with a bid of $1.50 per column inch and no charge for additional runs; The Kootenai Valley Record bid $4 per column inch and $2 per column inch for subsequent display ad publication.

Mack's Mountain Home Cleaning was awarded the contract for the annual cleaning of county offices in Libby as the only bidder with a bid of $83,002. Golden State Oil of Libby was the sole bidder for the county's gas and diesel services, proposing OPIS pricing plus a vendor markup ranging from $0.20 to $0.45 per gallon depending on location. Billings-based Eagle Printing remained the ballot printer after submitting the only bid.

McAsphalt Industries of Toronto won the contract for road oil as the only bidder, with pricing ranging from $6.80 to $7.97 per gallon. Noble Excavating secured the contract for crushed gravel over Thompson Contracting at the June 17 meeting. Noble Excavating's winning bids included $8.85 per cubic yard for various gravel types, plus mobilization costs of $4,000 for Libby and $6,650 for Troy.

Contracts for portable restrooms and for rock and crushed gravel still require resolution. No bids were received for the portable restroom contract. District 2 Commissioner Jim Hammons stated that the Maintenance Department would contact vendors to see if they will submit bids for portable restrooms. Hammons also stated that rock and gravel crushing for FEMA work will be put out for bid. The contract for rock and crushed gravel is for repair work following flooding and wind damage that occurred between December 2025 and earlier in 2025. The county printing contract was set aside until 2027 because the current deal is for two years.
