SONOMA — Shane van Gisbergen won the 2025 Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway on June 22, 2025. He drove for Trackhouse Racing and started the race from the pole position.

Van Gisbergen led 97 of the 110 laps, setting a new track record at Sonoma Raceway for most laps led. He finished 1.128 seconds ahead of Chase Briscoe, who placed second. Jeff Gordon previously held the laps led record at Sonoma Raceway with 92 laps, set in 2004.

Van Gisbergen also became the first driver to win a Sonoma Cup race from the pole position since Jeff Gordon accomplished the feat in 1999. He won Stage 2 of the 2025 event. This victory marked Van Gisbergen's fourth career NASCAR Cup Series win, including a previous victory at Chicago.

Other top finishers in the 2025 Toyota/Save Mart 350 included Chase Elliott in third place, Michael McDowell in fourth, and Christopher Bell in fifth. Tyler Reddick took sixth place, followed by Ty Gibbs in seventh. William Byron finished eighth, Joey Logano ninth, and Kyle Busch in tenth.

In previous years, Kyle Larson won the Sonoma NASCAR Cup Series race in 2024 and 2021. Martin Truex Jr. secured the win in 2023, while Daniel Suárez won in 2022. Kyle Larson also finished third in a NASCAR race held in San Diego on June 21, 2026, the weekend prior to June 24, 2026.
