PARIS — Christian Dior presented its menswear collection at the Musée Nissim de Camondo in Paris. The show was rescheduled from the afternoon to 9 a.m. to avoid projected temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius.
Guests received cool towels, umbrellas, and personalized fans. The event's soundtrack was provided by DJ and producer Fred Again, and the invitation was designed as a black disco ball.
The collection featured trousers covered in hologram sequins, ripped jeans, and oversized metallic brooches. Some suits were deconstructed and remade using chiffon fabric. This marked the third menswear collection for Jonathan Anderson, who became the first creative director to oversee both menswear and womenswear at Dior in 2025.
Anderson noted a perceived shift in youth culture. "Especially in London at the moment, there's a whole new movement of kids going out," he said. He also observed a resurgence in rave culture, stating, "Rave culture is starting back up again – you see it in the suburbs, you see it outside of the city." Regarding where he observes these trends, Anderson said, "I see it on the Seine at seven o'clock in the morning." He added, "Something is changing – it's more loose in terms of approach." Anderson further commented on his role: "I have an interesting job, as I have to talk to an existing customer and loyal client, and I have to go about recruiting customers." He explained his design philosophy, saying, "For me, in a weird way, I enjoy screwing with that, because that's where you find tension, within that character."
Prior to his current role, Anderson served as creative director at Loewe for 12 years. Dior is owned by the conglomerate LVMH. A February HSBC report predicted a 10% growth for Dior across the year 2026.
