LONDON — Tottenham Hotspur offered condolences to interim head coach Igor Tudor following the death of his father Mario. Juventus, where Tudor played for many years, also extended condolences to their former player.

"Everyone at Tottenham Hotspur is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Igor Tudor's father, Mario," said Tottenham Hotspur. "Our thoughts and condolences go out to Igor and his family during this incredibly difficult time."

"Juventus stands with Igor Tudor and his family at this difficult time," said Juventus. "Juventus joins in mourning the passing of his father."

Igor Tudor did not undertake post-match media duties following Tottenham's 3-0 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest on Sunday for personal reasons.

Tudor was appointed interim head coach of Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the season on 13 February 2026. The 47-year-old Croatian took charge with the club in relegation trouble.

During Tudor's tenure at Tottenham, the club has lost four Premier League matches and drawn one. As of 23 March 2026, Tottenham Hotspur sat one point above the Premier League relegation zone with seven games remaining.

Tudor won 55 caps for the Croatia national football team between 1997 and 2006. Tottenham's next match is an away game against Sunderland on Sunday, 12 April 2026.
