ASCENSION PARISH — The 23rd Judicial District Attorney's Office reported guilty pleas during the week of June 15-19, 2026, in Ascension Parish.

Jaron Collins, 20, pled guilty to two counts of Theft of a Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections, suspended, with credit for time served, and placed on 3 years of supervised probation. Camren Farley, 22, pled guilty to Theft Over $25,000; his 10-year sentence was deferred, and he was placed on 5 years of supervised probation with credit for time served.

Edward Belcher, 49, pled guilty to Theft Under $1,000 3rd Offense and received a 2-year sentence with credit for time served. Courtney Delaney, 42, pled guilty to Illegal Possession of Stolen Things Valued at $5,000 or More, but Less than $25,000; her 5-year sentence was deferred, and she was placed on 3 years of supervised probation with credit for time served. Willie Evans, 73, pled guilty to DWI 3rd Offense and received a 5-year suspended sentence with credit for time served, placed on 5 years of supervised probation.

Gelisha Fisher, 34, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $1,000 or More, but Less than $5,000 and Identity Theft, receiving a 7-year suspended sentence with credit for time served and 5 years of supervised probation. Houston Gammons, 33, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and received a 3-year suspended sentence with credit for time served and 3 years of supervised probation. Aquindice Garrison, 35, pled guilty to Theft Under $1,000, 3rd or Subsequent Offense and Battery of a Police Officer While in Custody or Detained, and was sentenced to 2 years with credit for time served.

Sabrina Jackson, 47, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $5,000 or More, but Less than $25,000, and was sentenced to 3 years with credit for time served. Juan Jones, 57, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, receiving a 5-year sentence with credit for time served. James Sims, 23, pled guilty to Possession or Introduction of Contraband Upon the Grounds of any State Correctional Institution and was sentenced to 1 year with credit for time served.

Cayden White, 20, pled guilty to Computer Fraud and Illegal Transmission of Monetary Funds; his 3-year sentence was deferred, and he was placed on 3 years of supervised probation with credit for time served. Assistant District Attorney Leila Braswell prosecuted these cases, which were presided over by Judge Keyojuan Turner.
