Defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day signed a two-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers at the start of free agency. He has participated in 105 games throughout his eight seasons in the NFL.

Joseph-Day has started 90 games during his career. He has accumulated 315 tackles, 169 solo stops, 30 tackles for a loss, 15.5 sacks, six passes defensed, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one interception. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft as the 195th overall pick and spent four seasons with the Rams from 2018 to 2021.

In 2022, Joseph-Day signed with the Los Angeles Chargers. He also played with the Chargers and the San Francisco 49ers during the 2023 season. Joseph-Day earned a master's degree in labor relations from Rutgers this offseason, having previously completed an undergraduate degree in journalism and media studies from the same university.

"It was an awesome experience and it's cool to get my master's and go back and finish that. When I first got in the league, I wanted to establish myself first as a player. I made sure I locked in on that, and obviously I did that. It was really important for me to complete my master's degree because I truly believe that I had to finish what I started," Joseph-Day said.
