MIAMI — The Miami Heat have offered a trade package including Tyler Herro and Kel'el Ware to the Milwaukee Bucks for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Bam Adebayo is not included in the offer. Reporter Brett Siegel stated, "Along with their Tyler Herro-Kel'el Ware trade package being offered to the Bucks, the Heat also have the 13th pick in this year's draft, which would potentially give Los Angeles another lottery pick." Siegel also noted, "Sources say the Heat want a decision on their Giannis pursuit before the end of Monday night, so they know whether they need to pivot hard before the draft to Leonard."

If the deal for Antetokounmpo does not materialize, the Heat are considering trading for Kawhi Leonard. Siegel wrote, "Should the Heat miss out on Giannis, and he is instead traded to the Celtics, then Miami would immediately pivot to trying to trade for Kawhi Leonard, as reported on ClutchPoints in April."

Antetokounmpo, 31, played 36 games during the 2025-2026 season, averaging 27.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. Leonard, 34, played 65 games in the same season, averaging 27.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

The Heat hold additional draft assets, including the 41st pick in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft. The draft is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Pat Riley serves as the president of the Miami Heat, and Erik Spoelstra is the team's head coach.
