SIDNEY, BRITISH COLUMBIA — Canadian actress Carrie Anne Fleming died on February 26, 2026, in Sidney, British Columbia. The 51-year-old actress died of complications from breast cancer.

Fleming was known for her roles in iZombie and Supernatural. Jim Beaver confirmed that Fleming died of breast cancer complications.

Fleming worked as an actress for three decades. Her initial breakthrough into acting was a recurring role on Viper. She also had an uncredited appearance in the film Happy Gilmore.

In 2005, Fleming appeared in Masters of Horror. In the Masters of Horror episode "Jenifer", Fleming played a disfigured woman with cannibalistic tendencies. She also appeared in The Tooth Fairy and Bloodsuckers.

Fleming had a recurring role as Karen Singer, the wife of Bobby Singer, in Supernatural for five seasons. She appeared in the 2015 film The Unauthorized Full House Story, playing the mother of Candace Cameron Bure's character DJ Tanner.

Fleming had a recurring role as Candy Baker in iZombie. Her recurring role as Candy Baker on iZombie lasted five seasons.

Fleming appeared in numerous other productions including Supergirl, UnREAL, Motive, Continuum, Package Deal, Alice, Knights of Bloodsteel, The 4400, The L Word, and Smallville. She also appeared in the films Good Luck Chuck and Married Life.

Fleming was born on August 16, 1974, in Digby, Nova Scotia. She attended Mount Douglas Senior Secondary in Victoria, British Columbia. Fleming studied drama at the Kaleidoscope Theatre and the Kidco Theatre Dance Company, both in Victoria, British Columbia.

Fleming appeared in stage productions of Noises Off, Romeo and Juliet, Steel Magnolias, and Fame in British Columbia.

Fleming is survived by her daughter Madalyn Rose (Max). A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
