NASHVILLE — New renderings of Nateland, comedian Nate Bargatze’s proposed theme park in Nashville, reveal a $350 million development spanning more than 100 acres with three distinct themed areas. The design includes a Tennessee-inspired zone featuring a 1990s-style mall entrance and a "Donkey Dive" ride, a New York-themed section with street performers and a simulated Times Square experience, and additional areas incorporating roller coasters, stunt performances, live entertainment, and interactive attractions drawn from Bargatze’s life and career.

California-based design firm Storyland Studios created the updated renderings, which reflect progress since the project was first announced in November. At that time, developers described Nateland as being in the "blue sky" phase, focused on demographic studies and site selection. The park’s team has now chosen a location within the Metro Nashville area but has not disclosed the exact site.

"They took Opryland from me, so I’m going to bring it back," Bargatze told WSMV early last year. Mel McGowan, founder of Storyland Studios, previously said the concept draws partially from those recollections.

Nateland CEO Felix Verdigets confirmed that details first reported by the outlet about the project remain accurate and current. Storyland Studios and Bargatze first revealed their partnership on the venture in November.
