Feeble Little Horse released an album titled 'bitknot' in 2025. The 25-minute record incorporates digital glitchiness as integral to its arrangements and a core part of the band's emerging sound.

The album opens with 'Doorway,' a track that begins with feedback and guitar stabs before transitioning to a melodic microloop of synths and vocals over a programmed drumbeat, then returns to drum hits and fuzzy guitars for the chorus. The closing track, 'DMT,' begins with digital sparkles and a guitar riff described as sounding like someone playing a guitar strung with rebar.

Several songs on 'bitknot' showcase distinct sonic textures. 'Rewind' features college rock guitar, aloof guitars, bird recordings, a synth koto patch, and meowing melodies. 'Shady' uses low-quality MP3 guitars and a drum loop resembling sounds from a 1998 issue of Computer Music Magazine. 'Shopping' is bathed in subtle low-bit noise and carries a siren-like loping lead guitar, while 'Guts' uses a chopped-up vocal as the lead melodic instrument.

The single 'This Is Real,' also released in 2025, appears on the album and features blast beats, Sonic Youth-esque guitar melodies, pitch-shifted vocals, glitchy samples, and a metronome click that briefly bleeds into the track. The song 'Dior' includes a click track in its outro, similar to 'This Is Real.'

Lydia Slocum, a songwriter for Feeble Little Horse, penned lyrics that appear throughout the album. In 'Cradle,' she wrote: 'I’ll draw our baby’s face / Give it your last name.' The lyrics of 'Upside Down' include: 'That butterfly was my mistake / An analog of something fake / A metaphor I couldn’t shake.' In 'Dior,' the lyrics state: 'He hit my line and said he wants to know his chances / Can’t tell a lie, I told him, ‘Slim like my Virginias’.'

The track 'Upside Down' closely resembles the raw glitchiness of hyperpop. 'bitknot' is available on Bandcamp and major streaming platforms including Qobuz, Deezer, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Spotify. The band previously released an album titled 'Girl with Fish.'
