GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN — Netflix has begun streaming Sisu: Road to Revenge, the sequel to the 2022 film Sisu. The film is directed by Jalmari Helander.

Jorma Tommila stars as Aatami Korpi, returning to the role from the original Sisu, while Stephen Lang plays Yeagor Draganov. In Sisu: Road to Revenge, after World War II, Aatami Korpi travels into territory that the Soviets seized from Finland to retrieve parts of his former home.

Aatami Korpi brings his dog and a large truck on his journey into Soviet-controlled territory. When Korpi's passport is recorded in a database, a KGB agent frees Yeagor Draganov from a Siberian prison. In Sisu: Road to Revenge, Yeagor Draganov kills Aatami Korpi's family.

The film features chase sequences involving trucks, tanks, motorcycles, airplanes, and trains. Sisu: Road to Revenge includes practical effects and computer-generated imagery in its action scenes.

In Sisu: Road to Revenge, there is a recurring visual element in which Yeagor Draganov uses windshield wipers to clear blood from his windshield. The sequel continues the story of Korpi, who killed Nazi soldiers in the 2022 film Sisu.

Sisu: Road to Revenge does not contain sex or nudity. Tommila previously appeared in the 2022 film Sisu, while Lang appeared in the film Avatar.
