DES MOINES — The Iowa boys high school soccer state tournament field was set on Friday, May 29, 2026, with 32 teams qualifying across four classes. The tournament begins on Monday, June 1, with quarterfinal matches held at regional sites throughout Central Iowa.

All Class 4A quarterfinal matches will be played at Valley Stadium in West Des Moines. The matchups include No. 6 Iowa City West versus No. 3 Urbandale at 12 p.m.; No. 7 Johnston versus No. 2 Waukee Northwest at 2:30 p.m.; No. 5 Des Moines Roosevelt versus No. 4 Southeast Polk at 5 p.m.; and No. 8 Iowa City High versus No. 1 Ankeny Centennial at 7:30 p.m.

Class 3A quarterfinals will take place at Indianola High School. The schedule features No. 3 Davenport North against No. 6 Des Moines Hoover at 12 p.m.; No. 2 Dallas Center-Grimes against No. 7 Denison-Schleswig at 2:30 p.m.; No. 4 Marion against No. 5 Norwalk at 5 p.m.; and No. 1 Xavier against No. 8 Indianola at 7:30 p.m.

Class 2A quarterfinals will be held at Gilbert High School. The matchups are No. 1 Des Moines Christian versus No. 6 Wahlert Catholic at 12 p.m.; No. 2 Unity Christian versus No. 7 Knoxville at 2:30 p.m.; No. 4 Bishop Heelan versus No. 5 Mount Vernon at 5 p.m.; and No. 1 Gilbert versus No. 8 AP/DNH at 7:30 p.m.

All Class 1A quarterfinal matches will occur at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines. The games include No. 3 St. Albert versus No. 6 Western Christian at 12 p.m.; No. 2 West Sioux versus No. 7 Pella Christian at 2:30 p.m.; No. 4 West Central Valley versus No. 5 Treynor at 5 p.m.; and No. 1 Iowa City Regina versus No. 8 GCGR at 7:30 p.m.

The state semifinals for all classes will be played on either Wednesday, June 3, or Thursday, June 4, at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines. The four state championship games will follow on Friday, June 5, at the same venue.

Several teams earned their state berths through notable substate final results. Ankeny Centennial defeated Waterloo West 8–0, while Waukee Northwest beat Lincoln 1–0 on a late goal by Amund Alyx. Johnston advanced with a 1–0 win over Valley on a golden goal by Salford Salihovic. Southeast Polk secured its first-ever state tournament appearance by defeating Iowa City Liberty 1–0 in overtime. Norwalk qualified for the fourth consecutive year after a 4–0 win over Bondurant.
