EL PASO — Stephanie Han defeated Holly Holm by technical unanimous decision in their May 30, 2026, rematch at the El Paso County Coliseum. The bout, which headlined a card featuring four women’s championship fights, was officially a sellout.

Han, the WBA lightweight world champion, improved her professional record to 12 wins, 0 losses, with 3 knockouts. Holm, a 44-year-old former boxing and UFC champion with a career mark of 34 wins, 3 losses, and 3 draws, contested the result based on lessons from their first encounter. Their January 3, 2026, fight had ended in the seventh round due to a severe head gash on Han’s forehead caused by an accidental headbutt.

Both fighters weighed in under the 135-pound lightweight limit on May 29, with Han at 134.6 pounds and Holm at 134.7 pounds. Holm said during a May 28, 2026, news conference: "I’m a very self-reflecting fighter. I feel like the more you dig deep, self-reflect on the things you need to do, the better you’re gonna become. So I’ve made changes, improved. Also (fixing) things that I didn’t perform well in the first (fight)." Holm also believes the cut on Han’s forehead in their first fight was not severe enough to justify a stoppage.

Han, who works full time as an El Paso police officer, trained for the rematch at PAL Boxing Club in Las Cruces, New Mexico, under trainer Louie Burke. She expressed appreciation for competing close to home, saying in an interview: "I really love my city. It’s nice just to go do what I have to do, whether it’s weigh-ins, whether it’s a press conference, and go back home. Because I prefer my bed over any other bed."

The main card aired on ESPN beginning at 7 p.m. MT / 8 p.m. CT, with preliminary bouts on ESPN+ starting at 3:15 p.m. MT / 4:15 p.m. CT. The event was promoted by Most Valuable Promotions Women (MVPW). Holm’s trainer for the bout was Mike Winkeljohn.
