NASHVILLE SUPERSPEEDWAY — Layne Riggs won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway on May 29, 2026. Riggs passed Rajah Caruth on the final lap to take the lead and win the race.

Riggs won the first two stages of the race. He struggled in traffic early in the final stage, which temporarily dropped him in the running order.

With 30 laps remaining, Riggs took fresh tires during a pit stop. The new tires allowed him to steadily gain positions, and he advanced to 10th place before the final caution flag flew, setting up a late-race restart.

On the restart, Riggs passed Chandler Smith for second place with two laps to go. He then closed in on race leader Rajah Caruth and executed a pass on the final lap to take the checkered flag.

Rajah Caruth finished second in the race, driving the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet. Chandler Smith placed third in the No. 38 Front Row Motorsports Ford. Riggs drove the No. 34 Front Row Motorsports Ford to his first victory of the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.

The race marked Riggs’ first win of the 2026 season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. His victory came in the series’ visit to Nashville Superspeedway, a 1.33-mile concrete oval located in Lebanon, Tennessee. The event was the 11th race of the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule.

Riggs’ team implemented a late-race tire strategy that contributed to his climb through the field. After restarting 10th following the final caution, he gained eight positions in the closing two laps.
