MACAU — Song Yadong and Deiveson Figueiredo are scheduled to fight in a bantamweight main event at UFC Macau on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Galaxy Arena in Macau, China. The bout will headline a card that begins with preliminary fights at 4 a.m. ET and continues with the main card at 7 a.m. ET, to be streamed live on Paramount+.
Song, ranked No. 5 in the UFC bantamweight division, enters the fight with a professional record of 22 wins, 9 losses, 1 draw, and 1 no contest. The 28-year-old most recently lost a unanimous decision to Sean O'Malley at UFC 324 in January 2026. Song also holds losses to former title challengers Petr Yan and Cory Sandhagen. "I am very close to these guys. I lost because of small points. I could have won the fight, each one, even the Petr Yan [fight]. I could have. But I learned a lot of experience from those fights. I believe I will get back soon and am only one or two fights away from a title shot," Song said.
Figueiredo, ranked No. 7, is 38 years old and carries a professional record of 25 wins, 6 losses, and 1 draw. The two-time former UFC flyweight champion has gone 1–3 in his last four fights, with his most recent loss coming against Umar Nurmagomedov at UFC 324. Like Song, Figueiredo has also lost to both Yan and Sandhagen.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook odds, Song is the -600 betting favorite, while Figueiredo is the +440 underdog. Speaking through a Portuguese interpreter, Figueiredo said, "Petr Yan is a son of a bitch. He keeps saying that stuff. In our first fight, I made him sit down. In the next fight, I'll put him to sleep."
