DUBAI — Iran threatened to expand its retaliatory attacks to include recreational and tourist sites worldwide following U.S. and Israeli airstrikes that began on February 28, 2026. "Parks, recreational areas and tourist destinations worldwide won't be safe for the country's enemies," said Abolfazl Shekarchi, a top military spokesman.

Iran continues to manufacture missiles during wartime, according to paramilitary Revolutionary Guard spokesman Gen. Ali Mohammad Naeini. "We are producing missiles even during war conditions, which is amazing, and there is no particular problem in stockpiling," Naeini said.
