SkinnyDipped Bazzini, LLC issued a nationwide recall of multiple varieties of SkinnyDipped Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites on Wednesday after a consumer reported finding peanut butter inside packaging labeled as peanut-free. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the products may contain undeclared peanuts, posing a serious or potentially life-threatening risk to individuals with peanut allergies.

The company said the recall followed a report from a customer who discovered peanut butter-containing items in a 10-count package labeled as Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites. Peanuts and peanut butter are not intended ingredients in this product. As of Wednesday, no illnesses or allergic reactions had been reported in connection with the affected items.

The recall includes seven product varieties: 10-count/3.17 oz., 6-count/3.17 oz., 50-count/.53 oz., 24-count/.53 oz., 20-count/.53 oz., an Easter package 4-count/3.17 oz., and a 32-count shipper pack that combines Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Bites with Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. These items were distributed nationwide through retail stores and were also provided as complimentary samples.

All affected products carry best-by dates ranging from December 20, 2026, through December 29, 2026, with multiple lot codes identified in the FDA recall notice. Consumers are urged not to consume the recalled products and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
