BALTIMORE — On April 24, 2026, a Baltimore judge issued an arrest warrant for professional boxer Gervonta 'Tank' Davis over alleged violations of his probation stemming from an October 27, 2025, altercation with ex-girlfriend Courtney Rossel at Tootsies, a gentlemen’s club in Miami.

The probation violation stems from an incident during which Rossel accused Davis of battery and kidnapping. Surveillance video from the club showed Davis grabbing Rossel by the hair, pushing her out of a backstage hallway, and continuing to shove her toward the parking lot before she broke free and ran back inside. Davis was on probation for a 2020 hit-and-run in Baltimore that injured four people, including a pregnant woman.

This is not the first time a warrant has been issued in the matter. In February 2026, Baltimore Judge Althea M. Handy initially signed an arrest warrant for Davis, but it was withdrawn a week later after his attorneys asserted he was cooperating with authorities. The April 24 warrant reinstates the legal action following further review by the court.

Rossel has alleged that the October 2025 incident was part of a pattern of domestic violence during their five-month relationship. Separately, Davis faced charges in 2025 for allegedly striking another ex-girlfriend on the back of the head and slapping her during a Father’s Day incident that year. That case was later dropped after the woman declined to pursue prosecution.

Legal proceedings have extended into civil court as well. In March 2026, a South Florida judge ruled that Rossel could seek up to $5 million in punitive damages in a civil lawsuit related to the strip club altercation. That same month, Davis filed a $20 million counterclaim, arguing that Rossel’s accusations led to the cancellation of his scheduled Netflix boxing match against Jake Paul and cost him a financial opportunity.
