LONDON — Logan Paul suffered a torn triceps muscle during a WWE tag team match at Saturday Night’s Main Event in London. He underwent surgery to repair the injury shortly afterward.

The injury occurred when Paul, one-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions alongside Austin Theory as part of the group ‘The Vision,’ was on the receiving end of a front flip attack from Angelo Dawkins of the Street Profits during a championship match. Austin Theory retained the tag team titles by pinning Montez Ford after Paul was injured.

Paul documented his surgery and recovery on social media, sharing images that showed a scar from the procedure. In a post, he wrote: "Tore my tricep, got surgery while wide awake. Told doc I want to feel it all. Still the Tag Team champ just FYI. They’re telling me six month recovery but I don’t believe them." Medical professionals have told Paul he is likely facing a six-month recovery period.

WWE announcer Michael Cole addressed Paul’s status on 'Monday Night Raw,' stating that Paul is expected to miss "a number of months" due to the injury.

Paul gained initial fame as a social media influencer. He competed in a 2021 exhibition boxing match against Floyd Mayweather that aired on Showtime pay-per-view. He last fought in boxing in 2023, winning by disqualification against Dillon Danis in a match held in England. After that bout, Paul shifted his focus to WWE and professional wrestling, where he quickly rose to prominence as a tag team champion.
