John Legend presented the International Artist of Excellence Award to the Colombian singer during the ceremony. Karol G performed the song 'Ivonny Bonita' at the event. Upon accepting the International Artist of Excellence Award, she said it was an honor to receive it from John Legend and that the moment represented an important part of her career.
