The 64-team field for the 2026 NCAA baseball tournament will be announced on Monday, May 25, 2026. A total of 29 automatic bids will be awarded to conference champions, with the remaining spots filled by at-large selections.

Kansas secured the Big 12 automatic bid on Saturday night. Additional automatic bids will be decided on Sunday, weather permitting, while further bids will be settled in the ACC, Big Ten and SEC tournaments over the weekend.

Among the conferences that have already crowned champions, Georgia Tech secured the ACC automatic bid and East Carolina took the American Athletic Conference bid. Southern Miss won the Sun Belt Conference bid, and Jacksonville State claimed the Conference USA bid.

Lamar earned the Southland Conference automatic bid after losing its first game in bracket play of the conference tournament and then winning four consecutive games in the loser's bracket. Tarleton secured the Western Athletic Conference bid, and Little Rock won the Ohio Valley Conference bid.

Yale captured the Ivy League automatic bid, Holy Cross took the Patriot League bid, and Binghamton claimed the America East bid. Northeastern won the Colonial Athletic Association automatic bid, while St. John's took the Big East bid. Rider secured the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference bid and Long Island won the Northeast Conference bid.

Milwaukee earned the Horizon League automatic bid, NIU took the Mid-American Conference bid, and South Dakota State secured the Summit League bid. Southern claimed the Southeastern Conference automatic bid.

Cal Poly won the Big West automatic bid and Saint Mary secured the West Coast Conference bid. Lipscomb claimed the Atlantic Sun automatic bid, and VCU took the Atlantic 10 bid.

The full bracket, including host sites for regionals and super regionals, will be revealed on May 25.
