OKLAHOMA CITY — Nebraska softball defeated Oklahoma State 9-1 in five innings on Saturday in Oklahoma City to advance to the Women's College World Series. The victory sent the Cornhuskers to the national tournament for the ninth time in program history and the first time since 2013.

Nebraska scored seven runs in the fifth inning to invoke the run rule, marking the team's 14th run-rule victory of the season. The nine runs were the most ever by a Nebraska team in an NCAA Super Regional game.

Hannah Coor tied the game in the third inning with an RBI double and added a diving catch in the fourth inning. Coor opened the fifth inning with a solo home run. Alina Felix drove in two runs later in the frame to push the lead to 6-1, and Lauren Camenzind followed with a three-run home run.

Senior captain Alina Felix said, "To finally make it there is a dream come true, but it's not done yet."

Alexis Jensen pitched four innings, allowed two hits and one run, struck out seven batters and walked one. Jensen now holds Nebraska single-season freshman records for wins, with 24, and strikeouts, with 210. Jordy Frahm closed the game in the fifth inning, allowing one hit and striking out two. Through five postseason games, Jensen and Frahm have allowed two earned runs in 33 innings, for a 0.42 ERA.

Nebraska improved its season record to 51-6, one win shy of the school record of 52 victories set in 2000. The Cornhuskers finished the 2026 season with a 20-1 home record, tied for the most in team history.

Nebraska will face the Arkansas Razorbacks on Thursday, May 28. The start time and television information are to be determined.
