PHILADELPHIA — MLB Pipeline's updated Top 100 prospect list included two Philadelphia Phillies players: shortstop Aidan Miller at No. 16 and Gage Wood at No. 71. The list marked a reduction from the start of the season, when most prospect rankings featured three to four Phillies among their top 100.

Entering the season, Baseball America ranked Miller at No. 14, starting pitcher Andrew Painter at No. 32, and outfielder Justin Crawford at No. 75 on its top 100. Baseball Prospectus ranked Miller at No. 13, Painter at No. 51, Wood at No. 77, Aroon Escobar at No. 78, and Crawford at No. 98.

Painter and Crawford have since been promoted to the major leagues and are no longer considered prospects. Their graduations account for part of the reduction in the team's representation on the updated MLB Pipeline list.

Miller's placement at No. 16 on the updated MLB Pipeline list represents movement from his preseason rankings of No. 14 by Baseball America and No. 13 by Baseball Prospectus. Wood, who appeared at No. 77 on the preseason Baseball Prospectus list and was absent from the Baseball America top 100 entering the season, was placed at No. 71 by MLB Pipeline in the updated rankings.

Escobar, who had appeared on the Baseball Prospectus preseason top 100 at No. 78, was not included on the updated MLB Pipeline list. The two Phillies players on the updated list leave the organization with fewer top 100 prospects than it had at the start of the season across the major prospect rankings.
